House Rules & Safety
Villa Serenity is privately owned and directly managed. The policies below exist so that every family — including yours — arrives to a villa that is exactly as described: clean, intact, and undamaged.
A refundable security deposit, payable in Euro, is collected at check-in for every reservation. This deposit does not constitute an additional rental charge; it is held solely as protection against loss of, or damage to, the villa's furnishings, fixtures, appliances, pool equipment, and surrounding infrastructure during the guest's stay.
A joint inspection is carried out with the guest at both check-in and check-out. Where the property, its contents, or its infrastructure are found to be damaged, soiled beyond normal use, or missing items are identified at check-out, the corresponding repair, replacement, or professional cleaning cost will be deducted from the deposit before the balance is refunded. Where documented costs exceed the deposit amount, the guest remains contractually liable for the difference.
Provided the villa, its furnishings and its garden and pool infrastructure are returned in the same condition as at arrival, subject to reasonable wear, the full deposit is refunded to the guest within a reasonable period following check-out, using the original payment method.
